I swapped a short sword for a katana sprite and the katana sprite is poking a little too much forward, exposing that empty space where the character's hand covers. I have the "fix coordinates" option already checked and it didn't fix it, I also tried it with the option unchecked which resulted in the same result.
Do I need to painstakingly add in the coordinates one by one for all 200+ frames? x 3? ;_;
